It is one of the most difficult thing to do in life. Forgive...forget. Move on.
Based on life experience, forgiving is not as easy as saying sorry, especially when it involves someone you have loved for the longest time. How easy for them to ask for forgiveness and tell you how sorry they are things turned out the way it did. Why not, they are not the ones who are hurting.
The more I try to forget, the more it runs through my brain like a train that has lost control. While I have not derailed yet, the anger that the memory triggers crush my self-esteem, feelings, and logic beneath it's burning wheels...
I cannot forgive, not yet.
